Joining Stafford Storage

How much does it cost to store with Stafford Storage?

A: Storage is priced by plot size, please contact us with your vehicle details so we can discuss plots and pricing.

Does my vehicle need to be insured?

A: Yes, your vehicle needs to have valid insurance

Can I see my plot before I start storing my vehicle?

A: Absolutely, it is important that your happy with the plot suggested, therefore as part of the initial process one of the team will meet with you to show you the plot, along with introduction to storing with Stafford Storage.

What information do I need to provide?

A: We will require Photo ID, Proof of address, we will require you to complete a form which we will assist you with, this will require your address and contact details, details of vehicle being stored along with Vin/CRIS number and vehicles required to access the site.

What if a plot is not available?

A: We have a sister company site north of stafford (Greyfriars Storage) who maybe able to help.

Alternatively if Stafford Storage is the Site for you, our team will take your details and when such time a plot becomes available, we will contact you. You are also welcome to check back with us at any time.

General Storage Questions

Is the site a CaSSoA member?

A: Yes, Stafford Storage is a Gold Member, Membership Number: 746

What are your office hours?

A: Office hours are 9am till 6pm Monday to Saturday. There is 24 hours 365 days access to site and out of hours contact for emergencies.

I want to change my vehicle being stored, what do I need to do?

A: We advise that you contact us as soon as you can prior to the change so we can help.

We understanding customers stored vehicles will get changed throughout their time with us, along with vehicles being upgraded and downgrade in physical size. Your current plot may not be suitable to support the change, therefore letting us know in the early stages gives us the ability to do everything we can to meet your needs.

We also need to ensure that information on vehicles being stored is kept up to date on our system.

Can I stay overnight in my vehicle?

A: Overnight stays are not permitted.

Do you provide undercover storage?

A: Not at present.

I have a Motorhome; can I leave my car at my plot whilst I go away?

A: Yes, Motorhome owners can leave their car at their plot whilst they are away in their motorhome.

Can I store more than one vehicle with you?

A: Yes, contact us this will be treated as a separate subscription.

Is there mains electricity available on site?

A: As this is a storage site, we unable to provide electrical hook-ups

Security and Access

When can I access my vehicle?

A: Access is 24hours a day,
365 days a year.

Can someone else collect my vehicle?

A: For security reason, no third parties are permitted on site unless by prior arrangement.

What security measures do you have on site?

A: The site has secure perimeter palisade fencing. High security electric Gates with individual access control which is recorded. There is also 24hours a day remote access CCTV.

Payments Questions

How is payment taken?

A: Payment is charged monthly and taken in advance. The first payment is calculated based on the remaining days left of that calendar month. Following payments will be for a full calendar month as per the price list and will be taken by direct debit on or around the 1st of each month.

How much noticed do I need to give if I stop storing with you?

A: You can stop storing with Stafford Storage at any time. Storage is charged per calendar month. You will simply pay till end of the that calendar month if payment has already been taken.

What happens if I miss a payment?

A: Contact the main office to speak to one of the team members or we will always contact you to resolve any missed payments. If the Stafford Storage team have tried to contact you and were unable resolve the missed payment access to site will be placed on restriction, which means you will need to contact the Stafford Storage team to gain access to site at which point Stafford Storage will work with you to resolve any missed payments. Keeping your contact details up to date is important, so if any details change contact the Stafford Storage team.
